CHALLENGES, FINDINGS AND INNOVATION
Learning calligraphy involves slow, deliberate hand movements that build muscle memory, fine motor control, and a tactile connection with pen and paper - each stroke is intentional and expressive.
In contrast, tapping on touchscreens is fast, repetitive, and often reactive, relying more on finger dexterity than artistic precision.
Calligraphy fosters patience and mindfulness, while touchscreen use emphasizes efficiency and navigation. One teaches graceful control; the other prioritizes functional interaction. Seniors often expect tactile precision from their past learning, like calligraphy, making fast, tap-based touchscreens feel rushed or imprecise.
Bridging Seniors' Digital Gap
Recognizing the challenges faced by Seniors, iexpertus LLC began developing Ingeniosus, a whole new venture to create with new findings a Guide, Knowledge Hub with Step-by-Step instructions and an Interactive Tool, to help Seniors gain the skills to use smartphones productively, right in their own device.
To explore the full vision behind Ingeniosus and discover how it empowers Seniors through intuitive, tech-friendly learning, we invite you to visit our website for more insights and updates.
